Reva

On monday, October 20th, our dear Reva passed away. It was a hard decision, but we could not put her though as much pain as she was in, and had to euthanize her. She was very dear to our hearts but we knew it was best for her.

Who is Reva?

You're probably wondering who Reva is. Reva is a Four year old Sorrel roan Quarter horse Mare. She has been trained and has competed in Reined Cow Horse competitions. She was the 2006, 2 year old Chanmpion at the Gem State Stock Horse Association. But she has a horrible problem...both of her front feet are Foundered. The bones in both of her front feet are rotated so it is very painfull for her to walk and she spends most of her day lying down. We have done numerous surgeries trying to make life less painfull for her, but we don't know yet if they have succeeded. Above is a picture of our beautifull reva.
